Bonnie & Clyde, Harry & Sally, Tristan & Isolde - couple stories often turn out way more exciting than your usual solo saga – we’ve known this since Adam & Eve. With Melina (Rawax) and Jakob Seidensticker (Wareika) it’s just the same. The major difference is they prioritize their artistry and dedication to their craft: music.

What counts is the sounds. Their sonic synergy is ultimately fed by the sum of their common and diverging musical interests and influences. By the way – this is not about age, gender or cocktail preferences. What these two vinyl lovers are after is the flow. The moments, in which time and place somehow dissolve into something more than their sum, something tangible which you can actually hear.

Preferably all night long. In four short words? – Fast, housy, hypnotic, electric.

Meanwhile they managed to found their own label called "We R The Aliens" on which they produced and released their music among other artists like, Snad, Boronas , Ricardo Villalobos, Markus Somme, Ohm Hourani, Katie Drover just to name a few.

With this strong team, Melna & Jakob Seidensticker are also doing regular showcases at Hoppetosse, CDV, or Pudel Club.

In terms of gigging, they can already look back on more than half a decade of directing dancefloors with an actual USP: What rouses the crowds all around the world is the swathes of music they have excavated.
