Jay has been DJing With over three decades in the underground, Tripwire has DJed professionally in 200+ cities, shaping marathon sets in basements, warehouses, and afterhours rooms where patience matters more than spectacle. A long-standing presence at Fabric London, Flash DC, and Vancouver’s Gorgomish Afterhours, his approach is confrontational by design—vinyl or uncompressed WAVs, no sync, no laptops, no safety nets. His productions live outside genre, built entirely on analog machines where drift and imperfection are preserved. Operating under multiple aliases, Tripwire has released over 400 vinyl records, earning dozens of number-one chart positions while maintaining an output that never slowed enough to become legacy.
