Born and raised in Saint-Malo, France, Daïf discovered electronic music at an early age and started DJing when he was 15. Shortly after, he began producing, developing a distinctive sound shaped by influences ranging from tech-house, minimal and acid to breakbeat, electro, rap, grunge and hardcore music. 

In 2015, at just 19 years old, he founded Luminaere, a project that started as a party series and later evolved into a record label. Over the years, Luminaere has hosted renowned artists such as Le Loup, Omar, Francesco Del Garda, Nicolas Lutz, Ryan Elliott, Quest and many others. 

After releases on labels such as Shadow Play, Overthink, Tone Dropout and OPIA, Daïf established a strong relationship with Art Of Dark, where he is set to release his third EP in 2026. The same year, he will also launch a new Luminaere release under his fresh alias, PREZI. 

As a DJ, Daïf has built an international presence through regular tours across Europe, Asia and South America. He has performed at some of the underground scene's most respected venues, including Hopetosse in Berlin, Closer in Kyiv, Ring in Seoul, MITSUKI in Tokyo and Phonotheque in Montevideo. Following four international tours in 2024, he started 2026 with another South American tour and continues to perform regularly across South America and Asia. 

Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres, Daïf has developed a musical identity that seamlessly blends old and new sounds. Whether through his productions or his DJ sets, his approach is defined by versatility, depth and a constant pursuit of something personal, timeless and emotionally resonant.
