RAZ

Raz is part of the new wave of exciting, emerging young artists. Originally from Romania, he moved to Manchester where he found his love for mixing and producing music. Since 2020, he has been running the creative hub and label Tamiras, while also crafting his sound within his productions. Later on, he has co-founded the vinyl only label Ventriloc. Over time, he acquired a unique sound diving into different sides of minimal and house, with inspirations from other musical genres such as jazz, soul and hip hop. Standing out in his productions are the rolling percussions, groovy basslines, intricate elements and sound effects which are all tying together into a harmonically compact groove. With his intelligent composition, dynamic vocals and infectious grooves that make standing still a near impossibility. He has had various releases on different labels such as Puls Records, Micronica Records, Juuz Records, Hasu Music and many more. Behind the decks, he has supported the likes of Suciu, Praslea, Mihai Pol, Hostox, Guy From Downstairs and Ali Demir, playing in different sides of UK, Romania and even as far as Iceland.
